About Unireproc CBO

The Univision Research and Projects Committee (Unireproc) is a Community Based Organization established in 2017 as a non-political, non-sectarian, voluntary CBO based in Nairobi County, whose mission is to harness the power of Christian unity, fear of God and love of fellow man for a profitable and sustainable platform for innovation and development. The CBO’s vision is community transformation through excellent Christian professional partnership. The CBO is guided by her motto, Partnership, Growth, Impact and seeks to work with individuals and organizations from all regions and backgrounds, with an aim to alleviate human suffering and make a positive impact especially among the most vulnerable community members.

CBO Objectives

  1. To promote women, youth and children rights and issues inclusively, in an effort to improve maternal, child and adolescent health through advocacy, awareness campaigns, economic empowerment, and capacity building initiatives.
  2. To promote innovative solutions among local communities for positive impact and sustainable development.
  3. To undertake collaborative initiatives for career mentorship, attachment, internships, and related activities
  4. To undertake projects and research activities aimed at advancing knowledge, learning and community transformation.

Mentorship

Previously Unireproc CBO has held messaging sessions on life skills for the youth, menstrual health, and facilitated sessions that encourage young people to use games and art to stay engaged and keep off from drug abuse and risky sexual behavior. The sessions have also provided an opportunity for career coaching and counseling.

Programs and Partnership

Unireproc CBO also runs an internship program, where attachees work under the guidance of expert program team members to fulfill their institutional industrial attachment requirements. The CBO also has a partnership with Wings of Hope teen girls’ rescue center where it supports volunteers to offer counseling, life skills, and team-building support activities.
The CBO is keen on partnering with individuals, companies, entities, and organizations with like goals, towards improving the health and well-being of the local communities.
