Mr. Masila is a public health officer and M&E professional with over 9 years of experience in WASH, health promotion and advocacy for M&E, spread over Kenya and South Sudan. He holds a BSc. Environmental Health and is an MSc. Public Health candidate, with certificates in Business Analytics and Financial Success for Non-profits (Cornell University) and M&E Certification (Kenya Institute of Management).
Mr. Masila has previously served as the project WASH expert (FHI360) in the USAID funded Afya Uzazi program (Nakuru and Baringo counties) that ended in March 2021, and has held a brief WASH consultancy role at the Kakuma Refugee Complex, among other roles. He is also the Secretary at the Evaluation Society of Kenya and co-chairs the WASH & Health Interest Working Group at CORE Group. He also serves as the Chairperson, Editorial sub-committee in the Environmental Public Health Officers Association of Kenya.
Benjamin founded the CBO in 2017, alongside a team of like-minded young Christian professionals, and currently serves as the Board Secretary and Executive Director, providing strategic support and overseeing day to day running of the CBO activities.
